To address pressing issues that affect the organization substantially, the Schools Division of Calamba City tackled plans and programs for fiscal year 2024 during the 1st Division Executive Committee Meeting at Bulwagang Rizal, 4th floor of the DepEd main building on February 2, 2024.
 
In her message, SDS Merthel M. Evardome, CESO V, emphasized the importance of understanding and collaboration in creating a more connected, engaged, and efficient workplace between and among units, sections, and functional divisions. She highlighted the proposed provisions concerning the amendment to DepEd Order No. 022, s. 2023 on the Implementing Guidelines on the School Calendar and Activities for School Year 2023-2024.
 
OIC-ASDS Nadine C. Celindro mentioned that effective communication serves as a bridge that connects individuals which fosters positive relationships as “good communication is the bridge between confusion and clarity.”
 
SDS Evardome reiterated that administrative tasks shall not be assigned to teachers in compliance with DepEd Order No. 2, s. 2024. She discussed the salient provisions of the policy and implementation strategy such as clustering of schools, deployment of administrative support personnel, immediate transfer and turnover of administrative tasks, and hiring of additional administrative support personnel.
The non-teaching personnel cluster report of the Division is set to be submitted to the Central Office on or before February 15, 2024.
 
Meanwhile, the proposed Programs, Projects, and Activities of the School Governance and Operations Division, Curriculum Implementation Division, and Office of the Schools Division Superintendent for fiscal 2024 were finalized.
 
The consolidated results of the client feedback forms were also presented to improve the delivery of basic education services in the Division.
