In response to the identified professional development needs, 124 new Master Teachers from the Schools Division Office of Calamba City participated in the Master Teachers Professional Development Program 2.0, which aimed to strengthen their expertise in content integration and the application of differentiated strategies to enhance teaching and learning outcomes at St. Giles Hotel Makati, on November 25-30, 2024.

In her message, SGOD Chief Dolorosa S. De Castro encouraged the newly promoted Master Teachers to embrace a mindset of continuous improvement and innovation. She urged them to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during the six-day training to excel in their roles, enhance teaching practices, and contribute to driving excellence in education.

CID Chief Mariliza T. Espada drew inspiration from Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, emphasizing the importance of leading with vision, inspiring with purpose, and innovating with courage. She underscored that the training is designed to empower Master Teachers to teach more effectively, provide learners with a holistic education, and prepare them to navigate the uncertainties of a VUCA world.

During the session led by PSDS Rowena B. Cambel, participants engaged in a reflective journey to deepen their understanding of personhood by examining their past, present, and future. They shared personal insights on their self-perception and demonstrated self-affirmation, fostering a stronger sense of identity and purpose.

Meanwhile, the participants were divided into three classes and proceeded to their respective breakout rooms for focused sessions. The first session, Empowering Master Teachers in Integrating Content within Learning Areas, was facilitated by Vanessa A. Centeno for Class 1, Edizon P. Dela Cruz for Class 2, and Conrad C. Araรฑez for Class 3.
