Fr. Jayson David, SDB, officiated a Holy Mass at the Bulwagang Rizal, 4th floor of the DepEd Calamba City main building, inspiring and uplifting SDO personnel, on January 17, 2025.

 

The gospel shared during the Mass resonated with themes of joy, gratitude, and the importance of remaining a blessing to others. Fr. David emphasized the value of recognizing grace in everyday life, including the blessings of work, and urged everyone to perform their duties with love and dedication.

“Let us approach our tasks with passion and commitment, for our work is not only a responsibility but also a reflection of our gratitude to God,” Fr. David remarked.

 

The Mass also highlighted the significance of compassion for the needy and the sick, reminding everyone of their capacity to make a meaningful difference through acts of kindness. “When we extend help to others, we bring hope, restore spirits, and inspire positivity, making life brighter not just for them but for ourselves,” he added.

 

Mass intentions included prayers for the productivity of the Schools Division Office under the leadership of SDS Merthel M. Evardome, ASDS Nadine C. Celindro, division chiefs, and section/unit heads.

 

The celebration also honored the life milestones of employees whose birthdays fall in November, December, January, and February.
