EPS Rosemarie V. Magnaye gave everyone an overview of the Instructional Design Framework which provides a cohesive structure made up of proven components that are adaptable to varying teaching styles, content areas, and learnersโ€™ needs.

During the plenary session, the participants identified the different components of the instructional design framework and related the learning process as an important activity of the brain.
Magnaye highlighted instructional design as a foundation for designing learning opportunities using the reflection journal.

She mentioned the four key aspects of instructional design including Context, Connection, Collaboration, and Creativity as well as the four instructional principles which include being Inclusive, Ideational, Integrative, and Innovative.

Additionally, she mentioned the four essential facets of learning which are Engage, Explore, Experience, and Empathize.

Meanwhile, the facilitators explained the design of the lesson plan for each learning area which serves as a roadmap for teachers, helping them effectively deliver content, engage learners, and achieve desired learning targets.

The participants were able to apply the pedagogical approaches and assessment methods aligned with the targeted learning competencies during the breakout sessions.
