The newly appointed school heads in SDO Calamba City further enhanced their expertise in the Continuous Improvement Program to equip them with the necessary tools and strategies to drive sustained improvement in their respective schools during the second day of the orientation program held at Monte Vista Hotsprings & Conference Resort, Pansol, Calamba City, on September 6, 2024.
In her message, SDS Merthel M. Evardome, CESO V, emphasized the crucial role of customer feedback in the CIP process. She highlighted that understanding and addressing the needs of learners, parents, and stakeholders are key to achieving meaningful and lasting improvements.
SDS Evardome also shared her experiences in implementing innovations within the Schools Division Offices where she previously served. She particularly noted her contributions to enhancing the online document tracking system, a vital tool for streamlining administrative tasks and improving efficiency.
Meanwhile, she underscored that research and innovation are not endpoints but ongoing processes. “The work doesn’t end once a project is completed. Outputs from research and innovation should be continuously utilized, adapted, and replicated to ensure that the benefits of improvement efforts are sustained over time,” she said.
The orientation serves as a platform for new school heads to learn from successful practices and develop a mindset of continuous improvement, ensuring that their leadership contributes to the ongoing enhancement of educational services in their schools.
