The Schools Division Office of Calamba City is taking significant strides towards promoting inclusive education with the launch of its second batch of the Training-Workshop Series: “Promoting Inclusive Practices for Diverse Learning Spaces.” This initiative aims to equip school leaders and educators with the necessary skills and knowledge to better serve learners with diverse manifestations and disabilities.

 

The training series focuses on providing instructional assistance that is both developmentally appropriate and inclusive, ensuring that all students have access to quality education tailored to their individual needs. By fostering an environment of understanding and support, SDO Calamba City is committed to creating diverse learning spaces where every learner can thrive.

 

Coach John Russel Benavidez shared a clear way to understand the inclusive education program development and policy implementation, specifically the features and function of Inclusive Learning Resource Center (ILRC). Also, he tackled about the types of assessment needed for learners with manifestations and disabilities.

 

This underscores the division’s dedication to inclusivity and its recognition of the importance of adapting educational practices to meet the varied needs of all learners. 72 school leaders participating in the workshop will gain valuable insights and strategies to implement inclusive practices effectively within their schools.
