Division officials and personnel examined accountability as this week’s value focus from the Council for the Restoration of Filipino Values during the 7th weekly flag-raising ceremony at Bulwagang Rizal, 4th floor of the DepEd main building on February 12, 2024.

 

School Governance and Operations Division Chief Dolorosa S. De Castro underscored accountability as an effective leadership in action. She mentioned that being accountable is having a plan and committing to it through good stewardship, effective communication, preparation, and follow-through as “we need to take ownership for all our actions.”

 

In her message, SDS Merthel M. Evardome, CESO V, expressed admiration for all the awardees of the monthly program on recognition and affirmation and challenged them to continue doing quality work. She reminded everyone to regularly attend the weekly flag-raising ceremony and gave important announcements and reminders as per agreements during the year-end Program Implementation Review and Performance Assessment.

 

Meanwhile, birthday celebrators for January received DepEd reversible jackets as gifts.

SDO employees who went beyond and above expectations and displayed exceptional performances from November 2023 to January 2024 were recognized.
