The Second Division Management Committee (ManCom) convened today at the Conference Hall of Jose Rizal Coliseum, bringing together School Heads and Public Schools District Supervisors of SDO Calamba City to discuss vital issues and strategies for improvement in the education of every Batang Calambeño.

Schools Division Superintendent Merthel M. Evardome led the discussions, tackling crucial topics such as Hiring Guidelines and Other Personnel Actions, Administrative Matters, and DepEd Policy on Class Suspension or in situations of emergency.

 

Evardome also shed light on the Performance Management and Evaluation System (PMES) for the current school year, DepEd CALABARZON’s Regional Memorandum 169, s. 2025 regarding the Prohibition of Electioneering, School Calendar Days for SY 2024-2025, and DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2025 titled Guidelines on the Streamlining of School Forms and Reports Accomplished by Teachers.

OIC-Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Nadine C. Celindro provided updates on the recently concluded Regional ManCom Meeting focusing on learner attainment data and other programs and projects.

 

Meanwhile, CID Chief Mariliza Espada discussed DO 002, s. 2025 and DO 003, s. 2025, as well as CID updates and implementation of programs, activities, and projects in the Division.

SGOD Chief Dolorosa De Castro also shared valuable information on DO 22, s. 2025 and other SGOD matters.

 

The meeting was hosted by Cluster 8, led by PSDS Oscar R. Duma Jr., in collaboration with school heads Bernardita Salazar (Kapayapaan IS), Sandra Estimada (San Ramon ES), Melecio Regucera (Sirang Lupa ES), Lorna Platon (Majada In ES), Jayson Malinao (Majada In IS), John James Bagasol (Canlubang ES), and ASP-II Grace Serrato (Kapayapaan IS).

 

As the meeting drew to a close, the committee reaffirmed its commitment to continual improvement and attainment of learning outcomes. With a shared vision for quality education, the participants pledged to work together to address challenges and seize opportunities for growth and development.
