On November 15 and 23, 2024, the School Governance and Operations Division-Youth Formation Section, in partnership with the Calamba City Social Services Department (CSSD) and National University Laguna, conducted the “𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗨𝗽 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮: 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗚 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽” at Halang Elementary School and National University-Laguna, respectively.
 
This two-day event was designed to empower student leaders and teacher-advisers by focusing on the MATATAG principles: strength, resilience, and growth. Through engaging workshops and insightful discussions, participants were equipped with valuable tools to enhance their leadership skills, collaborate effectively, and make a lasting impact on their peers and communities.
 
By emphasizing the importance of strong and resilient leadership, the initiative sought to inspire the next generation of leaders to contribute to a better future.
