The second day of the 2024 Gawad Calambayani interview and teaching demonstration brought to the fore the instructional expertise, dedication, and leadership of Calambeรฑo educators on April 24, 2025, held in their respective schools.
Qualified participants from both elementary and secondary levels engaged in teaching demonstrations and panel interviews to evaluate their pedagogical expertise, innovative instructional practices, and contributions to learner development and community involvement.
During the teaching demonstrations, participants showcased mastery of subject matter, learner-centered approaches aligned with the K to 12 Curriculum, classroom management, integration of 21st-century skills, and differentiated instruction.
Meanwhile, the interview portion provided a platform for the candidates to articulate their professional philosophy, share their significant accomplishments, and discuss initiatives that have positively impacted their school communities.
The names of finalists will be released through a Division Memorandum. The winners will be announced during the Gawad Calambayani Awarding Ceremony on May 20, 2025, where outstanding individuals and schools will be recognized for their significant contributions to quality and inclusive education in the city.
