In a collaborative effort to enhance Mathematics education, SDO Calamba City has partnered with the Gokongwei Brothers Foundation (GBF) to provide mass onboarding for Grade 4 and 5 mathematics teachers to the GBF Class Builder Platform at DepEd Building 4th Floor, Bulwagang Rizal on October 16, 2024. This innovative initiative empowers educators with access to advanced digital tools, enabling them to create engaging, personalized learning experiences for pupils.

In her welcome remarks, Maโ€™am Mariliza T. Espada, CID Chief, highlighted the vital role of teachers in enhancing the quality of instruction for learners. Meanwhile, Ma’am Merthel M. Evardome, SDS, inspired the teachers by acknowledging their essential contribution as Mathematics educators and emphasized the importance of effective teaching strategies in EnSciMa (English, Science, Mathematics) to promote the holistic development of children.

Ma’am Angela Dianne M. Agustin, the Resource Speaker shared the journey of the GBF Class Builder Program, providing valuable insights into its objectives and framework. Following this, Sir John Paul Cedrick M. Garcia gave an in-depth presentation on the GBF Class Builder Platform, outlining its key features and how it can enhance teaching methodologies.
