SDO Calamba City was awarded in the recently concluded CALABARZON Learning Resource Expo (CLRE ) in terms of quality learning resources development. Ten (10) major awards were won by the Division :  (1) Best Booth, (2) Best Learning  Resources in English, (3) BLR in Mathematics, (4) BLR in Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao, (5) BLR in Araling Panlipunan;(6)  Best Learning Resource for Key Stage 2- Mathematics , (7)Best learning Resource for Key Stage 3- Non Print – ALS Digital Literacy,(8)  Best Non-Print Materials for Key Stage 1- Kindergarten , (9) CALABARZON LEARNING Resource Expo Best Performing Schools Division and (10) Exhibitor of 2019 CLRE

The goal of the Learning Resource Management and Development Section is to strengthen the basic core foundation of learners in different learning areas through the development and reproduction of quality learning resources that can readily be used by teachers and learners. Further, the LRMD Section has diligently performed its goals to provide access to a rich collection of quality learning resources in various formats to support different modes of teaching and learning for all types of learners.  Numerous writeshops on the development, validation and finalization of learning materials have been conducted to achieve its goal to provide sufficient and quality learning resources.

These achievements of SDO Calamba City in terms of learning resources would not be possible without the dedication and commitment of the writers, evaluators, validators, content and language editors, layout artists and illustrators, photographers and videographers, whose roles were crucial in the development and quality assurance of learning resources. Moreover, instrumental to the success of the CID-LRDMS programs and projects is the unwavering support of the City government headed by Honorable Mayor Justin Marc SB. Chipeco.

The LRMDS is true to its commitment in providing and ensuring access, high quality and efficient support basic education services under the strong leadership and governance of SDS Rosemarie D. Torres , Ed.D. who is driven with  strong desire to achieve the  organization’s vision and mission.
