Aimed at evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of the division’s plans and programs, the Schools Division of Calamba City conducts the First Quarter Program Implementation Review and Plan Adjustment FY 2026 to ensure that strategies remain responsive to the needs of learners and stakeholders at Bulwagang Rizal, 4th floor of the DepEd Calamba main building, on April 15–16, 2026.

 

OIC-ASDS Nadine C. Celindro highlighted that the review seeks to assess whether the programs planned in the previous year were successfully implemented during the first quarter and to reflect on their outcomes.

 

In her message, SDS Merthel M. Evardome emphasized that all program implementations must be continuously monitored and adjusted through the Program Management Information System, covering initiatives from the Office of the Schools Division Superintendent, Curriculum Implementation Division, and Schools Governance and Operations Division.

 

SDS Evardome further noted that programs that were not conducted due to conservation protocols must be reallocated to other initiatives such as office repair and improvement.

 

She also underscored that an orientation will be scheduled to discuss matters related to various DepEd policies, including assessment, flexible learning programs, education in emergencies, work immersion, and the strengthened senior high school program once the policies are officially issued.

 

During the review, unit and section heads from the OSDS presented their program targets and accomplishments for the first quarter, along with identified issues, concerns, and proposed ways forward.

 

Among the presentations, AO V Robert Alain H. Bomuel reported the accomplishments of Project UPSKILL (Uplifting Personnel Skills and Knowledge in Increasing Laborers’ Leverage). AO IV Rhodora R. Bitera presented updates on the Electronic-Asset Inventory Management System (e-AIMS).

 

Meanwhile, AO IV Meynard D. Luna shared the accomplishments of the training workshop on the implementation of Republic Act No. 12009, also known as the New Government Procurement Act. AO IV Ryan Jaime P. Baylon reported on the progress of Project ARMS (Automated Records Inventory System) and Project PARED (Preserve and Access Records with Ease through Digitization).

 

ITO I Rodel E. Sulsona also presented updates on the PRIME-HRM system. In addition, AO V Minna Rosa A. Baylon reported on the FY 2027 Budget Proposal Preparation, ACT-SUCCESS, the CY 2025 Year-End Reports Consolidation, and the division’s budget utilization.

 

SDS Evardome also presented updates from the Regional Management Committee meeting conducted on April 14, 2026.
