Calamba Basketball Elementary team secured its third consecutive victory after defeating the defending champion Lipa City, 68–61, in the elimination round of the Regional Athletic Association Meet (RAAM) on March 9 at Lyceum of the Philippines University–Lima Campus.

 

Calamba pulled away in the fourth quarter, building its biggest lead at 66–44 after a strong layup play by Rafael Acallar before holding off a late rally from Lipa to seal the win.

 

The Calamba squad dominated the third quarter to extend its advantage to 50–30, keeping the defending champions at bay with consistent scoring and tight defense.

 

Lipa attempted to narrow the gap in the second quarter, cutting the deficit to nine points, but Calamba quickly regained control and entered halftime ahead, 34–19.

 

Calamba set the tone from the opening minutes, erupting to a 16–0 start and closing the first quarter with a 20–7 lead highlighted by a three-point shot from Renz Bayeta.

 

With this victory, Calamba stayed unbeaten with three straight victories in the elimination round of the Regional Athletics Association Meet.
